The Daily Mail and New York Magazine report that Noemie Lenoir attempted suicide. She was found unconscious on the floor of her ex-boyfriend and father of her son, international football player Claude Makelele's apartment. The Daily Mail claims she tried to kill herself with a life-threatening "cocktail of alcohol and drugs."
Heartbreaking! I've met Noemie Lenoir several times, she's beautiful and kind, and she was the model for my very first swimsuit spread at The Magazine. She is an accomplished French model---she has worked for Victoria's Secret and appeared in several French and British magazines.
She most recently played the leading lady in Usher's "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)" video.
Noemie is also a staunch champion of diversity in Fashion. Moreover, she is a mother to a beautiful 5 year-old son. I am praying for her speedy physical and emotional recovery.
