Before you write off yellow and blonde looks as just another crazy Lady Gaga style moment, you should know that models at the Alexis Mabille Spring 2009 show embraced two-tone colored hair as well.
Blond colorblocked with blues and reds, and brunette colorblocked with yellow were the hairstyles of choice on the catwalk for the Alexis Mabille show.
Sidenote: I love how the tracks are just out there for everyone to see. Clearly, a glue moment.
The colorblocked look was fresh and bold on the runway, but in real life, the two-tone look is more a degradation of color. Celebrities like Gina Gershon, Ciara and Beyonce have rocked the fade-to-blonde or fade-to-brown look, which is more suitable for everyday.
My opinion? I love it! It's a great way to avoid rocking dark roots and blonde locks when you're in need of a touch-up. And perfect for women to wear as their color grows out.

It'd be a fun look to rock...but I think I'd prefer a really obvious color difference....to make it more of an art form, you know? I like the idea!!
