Rihanna's fashion reign just won't let up!
She's is FIERRCE with two R's on the cover of Sunday Telegraph's Sunday Magazine insert with striking blue makeup, a Sass & Bide top and a bowl cut. And just check out her fab nails throughout the spread! I need that design to survive.
Looking this amazing, she may never have to sing again. She can totally get her makeup done, rock to-die-for fashions and pose and she'll be alright with me!
The spread, entitled Girl About Town, was shot by George Antoni and styled to perfection by Inez Garcia. Inside, she wears a Deon Lee jacket and Lisa Marie Fernandez swimsuit.
We hear that Rihanna was tardy for the party, showing up hours late to the shoot, but once she arrived (with huge glam squad in tow), she gave the team a juicy article and tons of haute photographs.
She dished that she isn't a role model (umm, no surprise there!): “Most people define a role model as someone who’s perfect, who doesn’t anything wrong, but that’s not human, it’s definitely not rockstar – and that’s what I am.”
Hmm...her bad girl attitude definitely eliminates all chances of her being a role model. But she can definitely still go for fashion icon. And with shoots like these, she's well on her way to becoming one.
Check out video from behind-the-scenes of the shoot:
What do you think of the spread? I'm not a fan of the coverline ("ghetto getup?" I get the alliteration, but what about Rihanna is ghetto?) but the shoot rocks!
