Well, they were spotted again on Rihanna who was having a comparatively calmer day in Santa Monica over the weekend.
While Lindsay Lohan brought out the soft femininity of the shoe by pairing hers with a long black blazer, a pleated bone skirt and blouse with lace overlay, Rihanna brought an edgy flair with a sequined jacket, a fitted minidress, a brown fedora, a cross necklace and red dagger nails.
The diversity of Lindsay and Rihanna's looks are a testament to the versatility of the shoes, which are at once edgy and demure. Obviously, they work for church and the club---and that's a fab pair of shoes! But there can only be one winner. Fashion Faceoff: Who Rocked it Best?
Kanye West promised to be more tactful in a Twitter rant following the Taylor Swift incident at last year's MTV VMA's...but you didn't believe him, right? Me either.
And truthfully, I don't want him to change. His tweets deliver daily entertainment ("I jog in Lanvin." "Being nice is my whole sh*t now") to my blackberry.
And only Kanye can write a whole amazing song about modelizing (Christian Dior Denim Flow) dropping names from "friend" Selita Ebanks to Lara Stone to Jessica Stam to Glamazon favorite Sessilee Lopezand make it funny and endearing. (P.S. every Good Friday song he's dropped is pretty amazing. All I listen to these days...).
So the fact that he compared Lindsay Lohan's design stint at Emanuel Ungaroto 9/11 is not at all surprising. Sure, he's exaggerating a bit but in Kanye West world, I'm sure it all makes sense.
To be fair, Lindsay's line last season was a disaster of epic proportions. And the fact that British designer Giles Deacon got rave reviews for designing Ungaro this season makes her look even worse. But 9/11? That's harsh, even for Lindsay (we just called the glambulance on her, we had sympathy).
Kanye's modelizer anthem, appearance at Kim Kardashian's Dash NYC, Fashion's Night Out cameo, red Peter Hildalgo suit at the VMAs and remarks on Lindsay for Ungaro are just the latest moves in his plan to penetrate the fashion world. He's studied under Marc Jacobs, gave a Yale dropout the opportunity to style him and facilitated Amber Rose'sclimb from exotic dancer to exotic fashion icon in a little over a year.
Also, lest I forget, he screened his film, Runaway, in the fashion capital, Paris, though not enough fashion people came out for his liking: "Last night at my Paris premiere of 'Runaway,' what hurt most was the people who weren't there. People look down on celebs doing fashion," Kanye said of the fashion folks who skipped out on the show. (Uhhh...where was my invite? I would've came Ye...).
Not to worry, I'm sure it will be only a matter of time before Anna Wintour dances it up with him at the MET gala. And in the meantime, with his hilarious critiques of fashion lines like Lindsay's, he can always moonlight as a fashion blogger.

As you know, Lindsay Lohan's back in jail again, booked today at the Los Angeles County's Century Regional Detention Center after failing two drug tests. Sad!
But I have to say - when it's time to look like a demure sophisticated lady in court, Lindsay Lohan knows the shoes to choose (even if the outfit doesn't quite convince the judge...or any of us that she's cleaned up her act). The troubled star wore a pair of Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly Booties which are $1,195. (Whoa at the price tag. I'll have to pick them up from my new online find, www.edoubletake.com that gives up to 75% off retail. Get into it!)
Bows can be very Easter-Sunday (read frilly, feminine and over-the-top) but the girly girl in me can't help but love these shoes! And as our reader Fashionably8 said, the leather gives them enough edge to balance out the girliness.
Too bad Lindsay couldn't wear them in jail, and they were brought out by mom, Dina Lohan, in a plastic bag. The shoes would get so much better treatment in my closet.

Now, I know Beauty Rules ($24.95) was created for the teenage girls, but it's chock full of fab beauty tips that I'm pretty sure will work for women that are still in their 20's as well. (The 30's and above maybe not so much.) Why even bother writing a book specifically targeted towards a bunch of little girls when it seems that mostly grown women use your makeup anyways?! Well, luckily Bobbi was smart enough to round up a gaggle of us beauty bloggers to explain everything. (That's her above explaining everything to us.)
It turns out that about 10 years ago, Bobbi launched her first beauty book called Teenage Beauty so it only makes sense that she publish an all new beauty bible for them...especially since there are so many new things out there (hello Facebook!) as well as many new pressures for young girls when it comes to trying to maintain your prettiness (I mean, you've seen the movie Mean Girls, right?!)
Cutely clad in a classic black sweater, black skirt and her iconic glasses, Bobbi told us that growing up she always felt "too short, too different and much too brunette" and the only female idol she had was Barbie. "And Barbie is not the correct idol for little girls," she told us.
Bobbi then began to experiment with makeup and voila! The beginnings of a makeup maven were made. Now, she isn't telling young girls to go out there and put on a ton of makeup and comb their hair certain ways. This book is all about empowerment and she offers great ideas on how to get fresh, healthy skin, pretty hair and makeup. (See! This is why it still works for us young adults, too!)
While some of her makeup tip scenarios aren't really realistic for older women (i.e. how to take a great yearbook photo) there are some that are such as nailing job interviews. Bobbi reached out to actress Hilary Duff to write the foreward to the book (one young lady who didn't turn into a train wreck like Lindsay Lohan despite growing up in the limelight). She also features pictures and tips from other high-profile beauties such as model Coco Rocha and singer Kat DeLuna (who has the cutest little freckles all over her face!)
And (here's the best part!): she even created a cute little limited edition 'Beauty Rules' makeup palette ($45) that contains everything a girl (or woman such as myself) would need for on-the-go touch up. It has four eyeshadows, two Pot Rouge's, 2 lip glosses, a glitter lip balm and even a mini Creamy Eye Pencil in Jet.

Now that Lindsay Lohan is in the clinker, I thought it'd be fun to make fun of her mug shot. But, aside from the fact that her lips look a bit plumper than usual, she doesn't look bad at all. In fact, I kind of like that she's giving us attitude in the picture..as if maybe this is all a joke to her. (Which, according to this article on people.com it clearly isn't as she's reportedly been crying her face off.)
So then I thought, why not look at some other fairly famous celeb mug shots and make fun of them instead?!
But, before we start, let's rewind back to 2007 when Lindsay was first arrested. Besides the fact that she looks a twisted mess, her eyebrows are in pretty great shape! Oh, and her hair looks fuller in this picture. I hear that they don't let you wear extensions in jail or prison so I bet she had to take it out before taking the shot above. Did I mention that she was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving and cocaine possession right after she was released from rehab when this photo was taken? Can you see the highness in her eyes?!
And here's the lovely Paris Hilton who was booked last year on June 3 and out by June 7. But, wait! She was ordered to return back to jail (which she did screaming and crying) to serve her 23 day sentence and was finally released on June 26. Nothing to really be said about her looks in this photo; except I couldn't figure out why all of her hair was swept over to the side like that..weird.
And if we talk about Paris, we can't forget about Nicole Richie! Without her long blonde weave, she looks rather non-celeb in this mug shot, wouldn't you say? Although she has two, this is her first one that was taken in December 2006 when she was charged with driving under the influence of drugs. And, before you start thinking "Oh, that's not too bad!" let me point out that she was driving down the road going the wrong way...while high on marijuana and Vicodin.
Is there anyone else that is skeeved out by R.Kelly's mug shot? I mean, I love his music (well, most of it anyways) but he himself always gave me the creeps. Taken in 2002, he was finally found not guilty of having sex with a 14-year-old girl in May 2008. The only word I have for this is just EW.
It's a man! It's a tranny? No, it's Amy Winehouse! Huh? Yes, Glamazons. This tragic burning sizzling hot mess of a mug shot is the singer herself. Now, I love her music (can't get enough of the stuff!) but I just don't agree with her looks...and this is one reason why. Although being arrested is nothing new to her as it's been happening for at least half of her adult life, this one was taken in May 2008 due to suspicion of drug possession. She was caught by a British tabloid on video smoking crack cocaine. Hence the reason she looks like a crack head in this mug shot.
Just when we think that maybe Britney Spears is really ok and that she's finally in a better (more sane!) spot in life, pictures like these crop up. Apparently, the pop singer was at a Crate and Barrel store in Sherman Oaks, California yesterday when this picture was taken.
I mean, I kind of get it in that I've been in the process of getting extensions done in college and took a break to go get food. However, I'd always put on a scarf or hat so no one would know that I had only half a head full of weave. Apparently, Britney thinks it's OK to walk around with patches of her weave missing. And, the biggest mystery here is why has her real hair not grown anymore than that?! (I'm assuming that those scraggly little darker pieces are her real hair.) She shaved her head in 2008 so she should have a head full of hair by now and not even need to wear the weave. Maybe she's really just as bald as Naomi Campbell? Gasp!
Whatever the case may be, I think the girl still needs help. And no, I will not just "leave Britney alone" because if you're a high profile celebrity (such as she) then this is not ok.
Ah, well, I guess the silver lining on this hot mess of a cloud is that at least she's not locked up in jail like Lindsay Lohan.....
While Lindsay Lohan may be freaking out about the fact that she's gonna have to serve some time in the slammer, at least she can get some kind of comfort in knowing that she finally landed on the cover of a decent magazine! Even though very few of us will be able to read the article (I mean, can you speak or read German?!) GQ is a pretty upstanding publication, wouldn't you say?

Hey Glamazons! Ok, I'll have to be honest here when I say that I didn't actually watch the MTV Movie Awards last night...I tried, but the Law & Order SVU Co-Ed Marathon that was on USA was waaaaay more interesting to me. However, I did have fun checking out last night's red carpet images. Who do you think looked the best? And what did you think of that onstage kiss Sandra Bullock gave Scarlett Johansson while accepting the MTV Generation Award?! Scandalous, yes, but in light of all the crap Bullock has been through this year, I think she can do no wrong. (It also helped that she looked super hot in that black Oday Shakar dress and Louboutin pumps.)
Never one to shy away from color, Katy Perry wore a blue wig, a jewelled Zuhair Murad mini dress and neon yellow nails.
Here she is on stage with Snoop Dogg during her performance for new single "California Girls." I know I live in NYC, but I love this song...such a fun, infectious beat!
Later, she changed into this form fitting dress (and hot pink nails!) for the official MTV Movie Awards after party she hosted.
Christina Aguilera killed it on the red carpet in this black frock by Versace Atelier. Love the chain detailing on this number!
And I definitely think the ruby red lips and uber glam hair 'do work well for her, too.

The Hilton sisters (ie Paris and Nicky) rocked the cutest mini dresses! Paris wore a cream colored Blumarine dress (loved the feathered detailing) and Nicky wore a turquoise knit dress by Missoni (that I've decided I need to add to my summer wardrobe in order to live).
For once I can honestly say Lindsay Lohan looked pretty classy in this 1970's inspired ombre beaded Pamela Roland jumpsuit (which effectively covered her SCRAM bracelet). I also loved her beauty look.
As you know, I live for eyeliner and love how she paired her heavily lined eyes with a pale pink lip. Very 1970's chic!
Scarlett Johansson is just a gorgeous creature. I'm in love with her green Dolce and Gabbana emerald lace dress and that tousled, wavy hair looks amazing on her. So, we can't be too mad at Sandra Bullock for kissing her on the mouth, right?!
Usually awkward and weird, I'm glad to see actress Kristen Stewart actually strike a pose and look alive. Maybe she's finally starting to have fun with her fame, now? Or, it could be that she's feeling herself in this metallic and tweed minidress by Dolce & Gabbana.
Jessica Biel looks prep-school pretty in this Giambattista Valli dress that features a sheer, white polka dotted top, frilly black skirt and pink bow at the waist. Even prettier? Why her hair and makeup of course!
Biel's tresses look sleek yet slightly tousled and she keeps her makeup look by sticking to a fresh face and pretty pale pink lipgloss. I did think her dress was a bit busy, but her simple (yet fab!) hair and makeup enable her to pull of the look.

Alright, maybe I sensationalized that headline just a bit (lol) but Lindsay Lohan is totally playing porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic, Inferno.
The movie posters for the film were released today and depict a brunette Lohan (she's recently gone back to blonde) looking her usual troubled, half-naked self. The pics were shot by celeb photographer Tyler Shields. I know she's a crazy hot mess, but I'm rooting for her and definitely plan on checking out the film.

Leather, leggings and ruffles, oh my! As we reported last month, Lindsay Lohan has expanded her 6126 leggings collection to include 280 ready-to-wear pieces. Quite ambitious for a celebrity whose first designing stint at Emanuel Ungaro drew the most negative criticism we've read in months.
But the 6126 expanded collection just may be the comeback Lindsay's hoping for. The collection is dare we say, trendy and cool-looking (atleast the pieces in her lookbook, those ads are...interesting). Highlights include sleek minidresses, gold burnished leather vests, sequined sweaters, ruffled blouses and tops with chain, embellished shoulders.

Die-hard Marilyn Monroe fan, Lohan claims the collection was inspired by "the iconic Marilyn Monroe and the timeless, confident glamour she represents." Umm...I guess that explains these skimpy looks and suggestive poses (and stripper pole) in the ad campaign? And is that ill-fitting silver sequin jumpsuit baggy in the crotch? Sigh.
