NEW!! Must-Have Dresses by Costello Tagliapietra for Uniqlo
The good news keeps coming. New York designers, Costello Tagliapietra, are bringing their luxe design aesthetic to one of my favorite retailers: Uniqlo. The result is a line of chic dresses that are as stylish as they are versatile. (Read: you can wear them to work under a blazer and add some funky accessories for the afterwork soiree). I am going to live in these all summer.
But versatility is only the beginning. The cotton and jersey fabric ensure that these dresses are super comfortable. And the draping and cinching guarantee a flattering fit. Not sold yet? Well, the price will win you over. These dresses retail for $29-$39. Unbelievable! Yes, I'm walking away with three.
What do you think of the collaboration, Glams? Will you be picking up a Costello for Uniqlo dress when it hits stores May 20th?
Kisses,
Coutura

You're Invited to the Zac Posen for Target Shopping Party in NYC + The Like Video by Gia Coppola
The good people at Target know how excited we are about the launch of Zac Posen for Target. That's why every couple of weeks they give us a teaser about the collection.
First, pictures featuring Alfre Woodard's daughter, Mavis Spencer, hit the web. Then, we spotted Nicky Hilton in a Zac Posen for Target Sailor Dress in Animal Print at Nylon Magazine's 11th Anniversary party.
Fabness! And now, with sixteen long days until the collection debut on April 25th, Target has announced they're having a shopping party!
Yes, Target is throwing a glamorous shopping soirée to celebrate the launch of their best designer collaboration yet! The party will run for one day only, from April 15th at 11pm to April 16th at 11pm. And everyone is invited (I repeat: it's open to the public). See deets below...and see you all there!
While shopping the collection of flirty frocks and gorgeous gowns, partygoers will enjoy performances by DJ Kid America and The Like. Fab girl group, The Like, is also featured in a short video by director Gia Coppola to celebrate the Zac Posen for Target launch. Gia Coppola and Zac Posen have been buddies since he started in fashion, and Coppola and the Like have been friends since high school.
Check out the video below:
Are you as excited for the party as I am?

FIRST LOOK! Cynthia Vincent for Target
Can you tell which wedge sandal is Cynthia Vincent and which is Cynthia Vincent for Target? I didn't think so.
The designer's fierce buckled wedges for Target are nearly identical to her those from her signature line---but a LOT less expensive. Target's version retails for only $29.99! The shoes are available in brown, black and yellow. Yes, prepare for these to fly off the shelves! (And P.S. the Target wedges are on top!)
The Cynthia Vincent for Target collection, which debuts April 18, also includes vibrant African printed flats and studded sandals, all capping at $30.
Let me know which pair you scoop up when it hits stores April 18th!

NEW!! Michelle Obama Favorite Isabel Toledo Launches Payless Line
The Cuban-born designer rose to fame when First Lady Michelle Obama wore her lime green shift dress and jacket on Inauguration Day.
Now, after participating in a monumental day in American history, Isabel Toledo has scored the chance to design for the everyday American woman. Introducing her capsule collection for Payless via WWD.
The designer will create handbags and shoes for the retail giant, retailing for less than $40 and debuting in September. The accessories will feature prints like patent leather, nylon, rubber and mesh and come in styles like flats and galoshes.
Toledo, pictured below, had this to say about the collaboration: “Working with Payless gives me an opportunity to reach so many women, and it’s a treat to be able to touch as many women as I will,” said Toledo. “It’s really a collection for women from all walks of life, literally. And it’s been interesting as I’ve had to have a different design hat on."
What do you think, Glamazons? Are you excited about this collaboration?
With Michelle Obama as a supporter, and Payless as a retailer, Isabel Toledo should have no problem winning over the hearts, and wallets, of the everyday American woman.

Countdown to Zac Posen for Target! New Pics Featuring Alfre Woodard's Daughter, Mavis Spencer
April's almost here, and that means one thing to fashionistas: the launch of Zac Posen for Target is near! I reviewed the collection in November and crowned it the best collection ever to come out of Target!
And now, I see why. Zac Posen, who recently launched a lower priced line, Z Spoke, at Saks, reinvented some of his iconic pieces for the new collection. In the gorgeous collection, you will find some of his classic designs---like the trumpet dress he made for Naomi Campbell in 2000---reimagined at a Target price point. “That was the dress that started my business,” Posen said. “It’s flirtatious and fun, but it has a punk, tough quality too.”
(P.S. how amazing does Alfre Woodard's daughter, Mavis Spencer, look in this spread!)
Here's what the designer, whose Fall 2010 collection I trekked to see with a sprained ankle (yes, it's that serious!), had to say about his snap dress design for Target:
“We made the ruffles detachable, like a Judy Garland apron,” says Zac Posen. “You can wear it as a skirt over the dress; undo it and drape it over your shoulders à la Cristóbal Balenciaga; or if you don’t want any frou, take it off and you have a sexy date dress.”
Beautiful and versatile? Sigh. Does it get any better?
Even the tuxedo look has inspiration and meaning behind it. “Lesbian proms have been such a big thing in the news lately. Rather than create a fake subculture, I wanted to address things that are actually happening.” Posen says. “It’s a kick-ass girl who can wear a tuxedo to prom! Don’t be afraid of drama.”
Get ready for looks with plenty of drama and attitude when the collection debuts on April 25th. It will be available through May 30th.
And click here for images of the entire line.

I've Worn Christian Siriano's Claw Heels for Payless...and They're Comfy!
Contrary to popular opinion, you will not twist your ankle, trip down a flight of stairs or fall flat on your face in Christian Siriano's new claw-heeled shoes for Payless. You will, however, fall hopelessly in love with them.
When they came into the office at The Magazine, I had to stop the important task of checking in items for shoots (that means taking pictures and writing down descriptions of incoming clothing samples) to fuss over the shoes like they were newborn babies.
They are strikingly similar to the late great Alexander McQueen's Spring 2010 shoes that I also have the hots for. (Siriano's actually came out first, so no biting here, just shared inspiration.)
And since samples for still life shoots are almost always size 7, I tried one of the Christian Siriano for Payless shoes on. Beyond comfy. They were even more comfortable than my chunky heeled shoes (I guess the claw heel and platform provide the right balance of support).
Exhibit A: Amber Rose who seems to be doing fine walking in them on the city sidewalk.
And...it gets better...the exact same design Amber is wearing is now available at Payless! ::swoons:: Yes, the claw heeled design that debuted on the runway in Christian Siriano's Spring 2010 show is at your local Payless store!
Apparently, at first, Payless execs feared they were too fierce (read: avante garde) to sell at their store. But boy, were they wrong! The shoes were finally picked up due to customer demand and are now available for $79.99!!
I can barely contain myself. I'm like dying with excitement (and clearly buying both the watercolor and the Mary Jane platform pump). They might as well just hand them out to people on the street; it's such a steal.
This is a must-have for every summer wardrobe. I'm just drooling imagining the possibilities of a neutral draped dress with those stunning watercolor pumps. God help me if Payless doesn't have my size!
What do you think of the shoes---and that phenomenal price point?! Are you going to pick up a pair?
Oh, and I had to include this pic too because it's so hilarious. Christian Siriano is crazy and I love him.
Kisses,
Coutura

FIRST LOOK! Liberty of London for Target
After a stellar collaboration with MAC, Liberty of London is spreading their flower power to another retail giant: Target. The line, which hits stores this Sunday, March 14th, is full of easy, printed minis and maxis, with patterns ranging from paisley to...you guessed it...floral.
Even the home items (a bike!) and menswear (love those ties and boxers!) have fun, cheeky prints that will add some life to your Spring wardrobe.
The sweeping floral maxidresses and breezy jumpsuits just scream Summer getaway. Throw on some flats, grab a pair of shades and you're good to go.
The trench and sheath give you a chic way to work florals for day. And, like a good London brand, the line offers a stylish pair of rain boots and umbrella for those rare summer storms.
Check out all the looks below and tell me what you're scooping up when it hits stores Sunday.

FIRST LOOK! Jean Paul Gaultier for Target

Hey Glamazons!
Remember in October when we announced the coming of Jean Paul Gaultier's line for Target? Well, the lookbook has hit the web and though I'm still partial to Zac Posen's line, there's something about these edgy designs that blows my mind. In true Jean Paul Gaultier fashion, the affordable pieces blend high fashion and street culture seamlessly.
Even the more classic looks, like that amazing trench coat, have a chic, urban edge that make them utterly cool. And when it's time to strut down the catwalk, like Jourdan Dunn in the amazing Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2010 look, turn to show-stopping pieces like a pair of tattooed tights and tanks with eye-popping graphics (Yes, literally. An eye graces the front of the shirt).
The tattoo prints aren't my favorite and can easily go ugg when worn the wrong way (Ex: Ed Hardy) but I'm in love with the fit of that red and white printed belted sheath with a nautical neckline. The look is so trendy but the silhouette is timeless. Perfect match. AND the tough-luxe combo of the floral dress and white studded belt is just calling my name!
Check out images from the Lookbook and tell me what you've got your eye on when the pieces, which retail from $18-$200, hit stores on March 7th.

FIRST LOOK! Zac Posen for Target

Hey Glamazons,
When I announced Zac Posen's collaboration with Target in November, I knew the collection would be remarkable---but with a beautiful printed gown, a bevy of cocktail dresses, a suit and even some shimmery swimwear, Zac went beyond my highest expectations. Seriously. It's so beautiful I would sacrifice my light bill to buy everything in the collection. And they're practically giving the clothes away for prices like $45; it's unbelievable.
Okay, I know I'm biased when it comes to Zac (I will go on forever about his beautiful Fall 2009 show that my boss gave me her ticket to), but the attention to detail is exquisite in this collection! The uberchic designs, the immaculate lines, the ladylike silhouettes (it will fit your body perfectly), the charming prints, the sexy lipstick red color?? This collection is a must-get. Glamazon stamp of Approval all the way!
Behold the beautiful pieces below and tell us what you have to have when it's in stores from April 20th to May 30th.
