Let's hear it for the boys! Well, at least the good smelling ones that is.
One of our favorite male designers John Varvatos will be launching his third major scent April 1 and (judging by the packaging alone) it looks as though it will smell like some serious sex appeal.
Artisan Black (pictured here) is a longer lasting, woodsier and muskier version of Artisan (according to Nicholas Ratut, president of Varvatos' fragrance licensee).
It will retail for $78 and (due to its special limited edition status) will only roll out to a small number of doors including Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Dillard's, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Designed by Givaudan perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux, it contains top notes of tangerine, Meyer lemon, Italian blood orange and calypsone. At the heart of the fragrance is Murraya flower, Tunisian neroli, Morrocan orange flower templar, Indian sambac absolute, Nigerian ginger, purple ginger, cardamom absolute and coriander seeds. The base contains notes of Kephalis, Belambre, Boisiris, Serenolide, Vetyvert CO2 extract, patchouli Singapore Orpur, Mexian cureramo, soft leather and Florentine orris absolute.
If that makes absolutely no sense to you fellas, just know that all of those ingredients make for one delicious smelling juice that us ladies encourage you to get your hands on. STAT.
That's all.
